Francis was born in 1559 in Holme On, Spalding Moor, Yorkshire, England.  Francis' father was Thomas BRIGHAM and her mother was Jennet Millington OR TOMLINSON.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas BRIGHAM and Elizabeth; her maternal grandparents were William (Or Tomlinson) MILLINGTON (TOMLINSON) and Barbara Or Tomlinson MILLINGTON. She had seven brothers and a sister, and also two siblings of unknown gender, named Thomas, Peter, William, Richard, Francis, Richard, Jessett, Jennette, Jennette and Francis.  She died at the age of 27 in 1586 in , , England.
