Robert De was born about 1031 in Of, , Staffordshire, England.  Robert De's father was Roger "The Spainiard" De TOENI (CONCHES) and his mother was Godeheut (Godehilde) BORRELL.  His paternal grandfather was Ralph II (Rodulf) Seigneur De TOENI and his paternal grandmother is Mrs-Ralph (Rodulf) De TOENI. He had eight brothers and a sister, named Ralph De, Helbert (Elbert) De, Eliant (Eliance) De, Elbert De, Elinant De, Gazon De, Robert De, Mr. De and Alice (Adelise) De.  He died in 1088.  His burial was in Abbey, Evesham, Worcestershire, England.
