Thomas was born in 1651 in Glouchester, Essex, Ma and his baptism took place in 1655 in Gloucester, Essex, Ma.  Thomas' father was Anthony DAY and his mother was Susan Or Susanna MATCHET.  His paternal grandfather is DEE; his maternal grandparents are Mr. MATCHETT and (Miss). He had nine brothers and a sister, named Timothy, Anthony Or Timothy, John, Ezekiel, Ezekiel, Timothy, Nathaniel, Samuel, John Joseph and Elizabeth.  He was the oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 75 on January 29th, 1726 in Glouchester, Essex, Ma.  His burial was about 1700 in Gloucester, Essex, Ma.
