Robert De was born about 1122 in Boves, Somme, France.  Robert De's father was Thomas De COUCY and his mother is Daughter De MONTAIGU.  His paternal grandfather was Enguerrand I De COUCY and his paternal grandmother is Ade De MARLE. He had two brothers and a sister, named Enguerrand II De, Anselme De and Melisende De.  He died on July 19th, 1191 in Siege Of Acre, Palestine.
