John was born about 1632 in Stratfordshire, , England.  John's father was Adam Aaron BLAKEMAN and his mother was Jane WHEELER.  His paternal grandparents are Joseph (John) BLACKMAN and Mrs Thomasine BLACKMAN; his maternal grandfather is WHEELER. He had nine brothers and two sisters, named James, John, Deliverance, Benjamin, Samuel B., Deliverance, James, Thomas, Deliverance, Mary and Deliverence.  He died in April 1662.
