Robert Clark Davis

Robert was born on December 13th, 1778 in Rowan, North Carolina, USA. Robert 's father was David Davis and his mother was Clark. He was an only child. He died at the age of 64 on November 1st, 1843 in Gibson, Indiana, USA.

General Notes
- Robert Clark Davis and his brother, David Davis, Jr. left Rowan Co. and migrated to Indiana by 1816. Robert apparently lived as a squatter in ghd Foot Pond Area until c1832 when he received a land granat of 80 aaaacres on both sides of the Obion River in S. Gibson Co., near Poseyville. Betsy was 16 and Robert was 20 when they married.
