Seth was born on February 8th, 1911.  Seth's father was Lace Dase and his mother was Ophelia Porter-Dase. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Ernest, Lace Jr., Jasper, Addie, Jimmy D., July, Tina and Luvina.  He was the oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 92 on March 7th, 2003.
