William Douglas was born on December 28th, 1889.1   William Douglas' father was George Devereux and his mother was Margaret Brew.  His paternal grandfather was John Devereux and his paternal grandmother is Marie Lowe.  He had three brothers and six sisters, named George Stephen, Victor Alfred, Lance, Evelyn Susan, Katie May, Margaret Elizabeth, Laura Beatrice, Helena Sophie and Gladys Eleanor.  He had a half-brother named George Stanley.  He died at 9 months old on September 30th, 1890 in Braddan, Isle Of Man .2
