William was born on July 17th, 1901 in Doncaster, Victoria. William's father was William James Bullock and his mother was Mary Louisa Davey. His paternal grandparents were Edwin F Bullock and Mary Ann Pearce; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Davey and Johanna Condron. He was the third of four children. He had three sisters named Florence, Edith and Helena. He died, at the age of 58 years, 1 month and 27 days, on September 13th, 1959 in Donvale, Victoria.
