Gladys Victoria Coad

Gladys was born in March 1902 in Clapton, London. Gladys' father was John Calvin Coad and her mother was Sarah Ann Quaintrell. Her paternal grandparents were James Peter Coad and Mary Ann Maryon; her maternal grandparents were John Charles Thomas Quaintrell and Mary Levoir. She had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Sidney, Aubyn, Mary and Constance. She was the fifth oldest of the six children.
