Margaretha's father is Johannes Baudrie and her mother is Cornelia Grietje van den Kommer.  Her maternal grandparents are  Cornelis  Rudolf van den Kommer - (B tak) and  Wilhelmina Hendrica  Claassen.  She is the fourth of five children.  She has three brothers and a sister, named Robert, Rudolph, Johannes and Jaqueline.
