Wilhelmina's father is Cornelis  Rudolf van den Kommer - (B tak) and her mother is Wilhelmina Hendrica  Claassen.  Her paternal grandparents are Cornelis van den Kommer - B and Sieuwtje  van Twuyver.  She is the fourth of five children.  She has two brothers and two sisters, named Cornelis, Bernardus , Cornelia and Sieuwetje.
