Teréz Körtvélyesi

Teréz was born on October 16th, 1829 in Szabadka and her baptism took place on October 16th, 1829 in Szabadka Szent Teréz.¹

Teréz's father was Antal Körtvélyesi and her mother was Rozália Balázs.  Her paternal grandparents were Antal Körtvélyesi and Katalin Varga. She had four brothers and four sisters, named János, Simon, András, Lajos, Juliska, Rozália, Rózsa and Erzsébet.  She was the third youngest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 67 on March 5th, 1897 in Szabadka.²
