József Körtvélyesi

József was born in August 1877 in Koluth Bács-Bodrog and his baptism took place there on August 27th, 1877.¹   József's father was József Körtvélyesi and his mother was Marianna Schwab.  His paternal grandparents were József Kedveles Körtvélyesi and Erzsébet Hódos. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Konrád, Mátyás, Konrád, Anna and Rozália.  He was the third oldest of the six children.
