István Körtvélyesi

István was born in April 1794 in Bakonszeg and his baptism took place there on April 12th, 1794.¹   István's father was Sámuel Körtvélyesi and his mother was Borbála Szabó.  His paternal grandparents were András Körtvélyesi and Katalin Domján. He had two brothers and a sister, named István, János and Julianna. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Ferenc, Ferenc, József, Rebeka, Sára and Mária.  He died as an infant at 11 months old on March 13th, 1795 in Bakonszeg.²
