Lajos' father was József Asbóth and his mother was Julianna Dénes.  His paternal grandparents were Ferenc Asbóth and Márta Nagy. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Gizella, József, József, Mária, Julianna, Rozália and Terézia.  He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.  He died at 3 months old on July 29th, 1890.
