György Asbóth

György was born in January 1773 in Szany Sopron vm and his baptism took place there on January 1st, 1773.¹   György's father was György Asbóth and his mother was Katalin Horváth.  His paternal grandparents were Pál Asbóth and Katalin Gasztonyi. He had three brothers and two sisters, named István, József, István, Erzsébet and Katalin.  He was the second oldest of the six children.
