Blanche was born on February 12th, 1915 in Colac, Victoria.¹ Blanche's father was Malachy O'Donnell and her mother was Blanche Maud Jane Fox. Her paternal grandparents were John O'Donnell and Margaret Hogan; her maternal grandparents were Charles James Fox and Isabella Ivory. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Les, Max, Jim, Eilleen and Vera. She died at the age of 80 on October 5th, 1995. She was buried in New Cheltenham Cemetery, Victoria (RC section).¹
