George Ivory Fox

George was born in 1881 in Richmond, Victoria.  George's father was Charles James Fox and his mother was Isabella Ivory.  His paternal grandparents were Charles Fox and Jane Rice; his maternal grandparents were John Ivory Carpenter and Isabella Hurst. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Charles, William, James, Frederick, Ernest, Isabella and Blanche.  He was the second youngest of the eight children.  He died due to a medical problem, disease, at the age of 21 on February 13th, 1902 in Middleburg, South Africa.  He was buried in Middleburg Cemetery, SA..¹
