Christoph Mathias WENDLING

Christoph Mathias was born on January 2nd, 1761 in Finkenbach, Rheinland-Pfalz.¹ Christoph Mathias' father was Valentin WENDLING and his mother was Maria Catharina Charlotta GOETTMANN. His paternal grandparents were Johannes Valentin WENDLING and Anna Catharina GILLMANN; his maternal grandmother was Maria Catherine Nuin. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Johann Georg Adam, Wenzel Peter, Maria Catharina Charlotte, Henrietta Carolina, Maria Philippina and Anna Elisabetha. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 82 on February 13th, 1843 in Illischestie, Bukovina, Austria.¹
