Laura was born on July 15th, 1861.  Laura's father was Benjabin Franklin Orris and her mother was Mararet Jennie Walker.  Her paternal grandparents are Henry Orris and Phoebe Hall; her maternal grandparents are Robert Walker and Phoebe A. Jaynes.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 71 in 1932.
