David was born on January 5th, 1744.  David's father was Johann Philip Harless and his mother was Anna Margaretha Preisch.  His paternal grandparents are <Unknown> and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents are <Unknown> and <Unknown>.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 71 in 1815.
