Hilda was born on November 18th, 1902 in Albion Cottage Melcombe Regis.1   Hilda's father was Mr Thomas Walter/William Hunt and her mother was Mrs Clara Jane Hunt (Hughes).  Her paternal grandparents were Mr John Hunt and Mrs Jane Hunt; her maternal grandparents were Mr Charles Hughes and Mrs Harriet Hughes (Strainge). She had a brother and three sisters, named Frank, Winifred, Helen and Florence.  She died at the age of 69 in 1971.
