Rusman was born on January 12th, 1891.  Rusman's father was RM Tjitrodimedjo and his mother was Ny. Tjitrodimedjo.  His maternal grandparents are MANGUNDJOJO and Istri Eyang Mangundjojo. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Kasan, Kasdu, Supardi, Sujoto, Sumanan, Sumarni and Sujati.  He was the fifth oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 63 on July 6th, 1954.
