Puguh was born on December 16th, 1972.  Puguh's father is Hertoyo Wiyono and his mother is RA Sri Suwarni.  His paternal grandparents are Wijono and Djumi Sridajatun. He has four brothers and a sister, named Anang, Ir Bayu, Guruh, Agung and Drs Rini.  He is the youngest of the six children.
