Hj Indrati was born on April 1st, 1931.  Hj Indrati's father is R Judomarjono and her mother was Siti Muntowati.  Her maternal grandfather is Hastroamodjojo and her maternal grandmother was Sumarni. She has two brothers and five sisters, named H Ir Sujono, Sumarno, Hj Surjani, Hj Sumini, Hj Sukaesih, Sulastri and Suminah.  She is the fourth oldest of the eight children.
