Magdalena was born on April 14th, 1848.  Magdalena's father was Jacob (Thiago) Finger and her mother was Susanna Margarida Diebel.  Her paternal grandparents were Johan (João) Finger and Catharina Maldhaner; her maternal grandparents were Balthasar Diebel and Ana Catharina Kunz. She had eight brothers and five sisters, named Jacob, Henrique, Pedro, João, João, Felippe, Nicolau, Mathias, Elisabeth, Anna, Susanna, Maria and Catharina.  She died at the age of 70 on July 23rd, 1918.
