Tobey Deborah was born on January 4th, 1915 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Tobey Deborah's father was Paul Arthur Levi and her mother was Minnie Fleishman. Her maternal grandparents were Abraham Abba Fleishman and Sheina (Janie). She had five brothers and four sisters, named Abbe, David Shloma (Pom), Eliezer Asher (Lacy), Samuel Gershon (Mook), Donald Moses (Moe), Dr. Mattie, Sara Etta, Rivka and Leah Ruth. She was the youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 82 in 1997.
