Samuel was born in April 1888 in Omaha, , NE.  Samuel's father was Esau (Esher) Fleishman and his mother was Sophia (Beth Sheba) Hillman.  His paternal grandfather was Abraham Abba Fleishman and his paternal grandmother is Tzerne. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Harry (Hershel) G., Jacob, Hyman, Dr. Max, Anna Margaret, Ella (Abgala Tzerna) and Baby girl.  He died at the age of 68 on December 26th, 1956 in Los Angeles, CA..
