Magnus was born on February 9th, 1873.  Magnus' father was Jöns Nilsson and his mother was Karna Måndsdotter.  His paternal grandfather is Nils Mårtensson and his paternal grandmother was Karna Jönsdotter. He had a brother and six sisters, named Nils , Johanna, Anna, Maria, Hilda, Hilda and Esther.  He was the second oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 69 on August 11th, 1942.
