Anders was born on December 23rd, 1830 in Tommerupvej på "lille dyre".1   Anders' father was Mr Niels (Lille Dyhre) Nielsen and his mother was Mrs Appelone Marie Christensdatter.  His paternal grandparents were Mr Peder Nielsen and Mrs Maren Chatrine Andersdatter; his maternal grandparents were Mr Christen Andersen and Mrs Anne Dorthea Hansdatter.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 73 on January 22nd, 1904 in Lumby.1
