Susanna was born on April 24th, 1892.  Susanna's father was Andrew Siman and her mother was Anna Skolnick.  Her paternal grandparents were George Siman and Maria Roshan; her maternal grandparents are Mathew Skolnick and Susanna Virus. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Andrew, Rosalia, Maria, Anna and Carolina.  She was the third oldest of the seven children.
