Oskar was born on October 7th, 1871 in Hirsau.  Oskar's father was 131 Ernst Emil Hepp Pickford and his mother was Anna Kostenbader.  His paternal grandparents were 115 Ferdinand Karl Theodor Hepp Eckstein and Isabella  Wilhelmina Elizabeth Pickford. He had three brothers and a sister, named Karl, Theodor, Theodor and Klara.  He was the second youngest of the five children.  He died at the age of 59 on August 9th, 1931 in Stuttgart.
