Carmen was born on February 6th, 1914 in Santiago, Chile.  Carmen's father was 1.5 Carlos Otto Hepp Krefft and her mother was Maria Lucia Dubiau Lassabe de Gasion.  Her paternal grandparents were 177 Hermann Peter Hepp Dittler and Valeska Auguste Krefft Lotzin. She had three brothers and a sister, named Carlos Felipe, Juan Cristian, Ricardo and Maria Celeste.  She was the third oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 89 on February 6th, 2003 in Santiago, Chile.
