Samuel GILLETT

Samuel was born on June 9th, 1839 in Handsworth, Yorkshire, UK.¹ Samuel's father was Joshua Hague GILLETT and his mother was Mary BUTTERLY. His maternal grandfather was John BUTTERLY and his maternal grandmother is Millicent CHARLESWORTH. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named John, Thomas, Mark, Joshua Brigham, Ann, Jane, Elizabeth, Maria Henrietta, Mary Ann, Sarah Butterly, Emma and Ellen Rebecca. He was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 49 on December 24th, 1888 in Tooele, Utah, USA.¹
