Sam's father is David Korman and his mother is Channa Fagle Korman. His paternal grandfather was Shloime Korman and his paternal grandmother is Soreh; his maternal grandparents were Yitzchok Korman and Dvora. He had a brother and two sisters, named Nick, Golda and Ester.
