Titi Ionescu

Titi was born in 1905 in Mizil and his christening took place there conducted by the priest.  His godmother was Victoria Ionescu Popovici.  Titi's father was Vasile (Cutitarul) Ionescu and his mother was Aneta Ionescu. He had three brothers and three sisters, and also four siblings of unknown gender, named Ionel, Romu , Nicolae(Naica), Victoria, Elvira, Iosefina, ?, ?, ? and ?.  He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children.  He died due to a medical problem at the age of 43 on January 6th, 1948.  The funeral took place in Mizil.  His body was entombed in Mizil.

• Death Notes

  Titi avea numai 43 de ani când a murit. Boala care l-a răpus (tifos exantematic) a luat-o fiind ciupit de un păduche la o frizerie din Mizil. Când  s-a întors acasă de la tuns, Marieta, sotia lui, care zăcea bolnavă în pat de mai mult timp, a zărit paduchele pe gulerul cămăşii.
  A fost greu şi mizerie în România după al doilea război mondial, sub ocupaţia rusească.
