Thomas was born on November 2nd, 1843.  Thomas' father was William "Billie" Grant and his mother was Violet Robertson (Grant).  His paternal grandparents were John "Jack" Grant and Malinda Forrester (Grant). He had nine brothers named John, 2-1-1838, Alexander, William, George, Benjamin, Calloway, Paul and Infant.  He died at the age of 70 on June 22nd, 1914.  His burial was in Level Grove Church Cemetery in Cornelia, GA.
