Sarah Coleman (Sconyers)

Sarah was born on November 6th, 1874 in Emanuel Co., GA. Sarah's father was Elias Coleman and her mother was Mary Ann Sutton (Coleman). Her paternal grandparents were Elisha Coleman and Miss Whitfield (Coleman); her maternal grandfather was Abner Sutton and her maternal grandmother is Mary Williams (Sutton). She had seven brothers and two sisters, named Welcome, Holcombe, George, Carrie, Elisha, Algerine, Emanuel, Mary and Elizabeth. She died at the age of 80 on June 20th, 1955 in Chester, SC.
