Elizabeth was born in 1750.  Elizabeth's father was William Christian and her mother is Susan Browne.  Her paternal grandparents were James Christian and Anne Macon (Christian). She has three brothers and three sisters, named Turner, CAPT. Henry, William, Anne, Mary and Susannah.  She is the fifth oldest of the seven children. She had a half-brother named William.
