    Charles Lewis "Chuck" Johnston October 9, 1953 - June 4, 2004 VALLEY, AL - Charles Lewis "Chuck" Johnston, 50 of Valley died Friday, June 4 at his residence. A memorial service will be held 5:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 8 at Sherwood Presbyterian Church with Reverend Art Bishop officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the church. Mr. Johnston was born October 9, 1953 in Columbus son of the late Merle Farrar and Robert G. Johnston Jr. He was the former owner of 315 BBQ Restaurant. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his daughter, Elizabeth Anne Johnston of Smiths, Ala.; son, Charles Lewis Johnston, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Laura of Birmingham, Ala.; sister, Dr. Carol Johnston and husband Kevin Kleiner of Auburn; brothers, David Johnston of Columbus, Judge Robert G. Johnston, III and his wife Lois of Columbus; his companion, Shirley Foust; former wife, Wanda Johnston of Smiths; nieces, Farrar Johnston, Margaret Montnegro, Glenn Johnston, Grace Kleiner.
