John Singleton Copley

John Singleton was born on May 21st, 1772 in Boston, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts.¹ John Singleton's father was John Singleton Copley and his mother was Susanna Farnham Clarke. His paternal grandparents were Richard Copley and Mary Sarah Singleton. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Clarke, Jonathan, Elizabeth Clarke, Mary and Susanna. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 91 on October 12th, 1863 in London, Middlesex, England.¹
