Hélia was born on June 7th, 1930.  Hélia's father was João Scabora and her mother was Maria Frizoni Scabora.  Her paternal grandparents were Victorio Scabora and Domingas Galan Scabora; her maternal grandparents were Cyro Frizoni and Lucia Martarelli. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Fábio, Tio Neco, Firmo, Armida, Adelaide and Antonia.  She died due to a medical problem at the age of 68 on October 1st, 1998.
