Bascom Carroll was born on April 18th, 1914. Bascom Carroll's father was George Henry Yeager and his mother was Ida Lee Watkins. His paternal grandfather is Thomas Benton Yeager and his paternal grandmother was Eve Melinda Shoffner; his maternal grandparents were Wiley Watkins and Malinda Elizabeth Stafford. He had eight brothers and a sister, named Lonnie Earnest "Jake", Walter Lee, Claude Henry, Corbett Cimmeon, Frank James, Irvin L, Howard LaFayette, Woodrow Wilson and Katherine Mae "Katie". He was the youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 85 on August 9th, 1999 in Moscow, Fayette, Tennessee, USA.-
