Ruby Hazel's father was Peter Franklin Wilson and her mother was Ida L Yeager. Her paternal grandparents are Brantley "Jack" Wilson and Elizabeth Pannell; her maternal grandparents were Tom Yeager and Martha Virginia Skelton. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Rufus Brantley, James Thomas, Howard Vernon, Ray, Eddie Lavern, Sallie, Lucille and Alaise Mae. She died on March 2nd, 2002.-
