His paternal grandparents are Louie Roston "Lonnie" Watkins and Bessie Gray; his maternal grandparents were Sylas M "Buddy" Watkins and Sally Crenshaw. He had eight brothers and seven sisters, named Robert Lee "Jack", Lonnie L, J T, Infant Son, R C, Arlie, Bobby, Jessie "Buck", Lillie Frances, Jeraldine, Freddie Mae, Cora Lee, Mavis, Verbel and Lucille. He died at the age of 73 on July 22nd, 2010 in Ashland, Benton, Mississippi, USA.General Notes
Marshall W. Watkins Marshall W. Watkins, 73, of Byhalia, died July 22, 2010, at Ashland Health and Rehabilitation. He was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints, and a painter. Services were held at 4 p.m. on July 24 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in John Skelton Family Cemetery in Lamar. Bro. Mike Thomas officiated. He leaves his wife, Addie Watkins; four sons, Rickey Watkins of Byhalia, Stevie Watkins of Arlington, Tenn., Terry Watkins, Jerry Watkins, both of Munford, Tenn., two daughters, Bonnie Byrd of Lamar, Becky Pannell of Holly Springs; a brother, Bobby Watkins of Waterford; two sisters, Freddie Dyer of Oakland, Tenn., Verbal Hann of Moscow, Tenn.; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by grandchildren Stephen Wayne Pannell and Marshall Colby Watkins.
