Danny's father is Arlie Watkins and his mother is Marie Byford. His paternal grandparents were Robert Lee "Robbie" Watkins and Theora Watkins; his maternal grandfather is Tom Byford. He has four brothers and three sisters, named Glen, Terry, Sonny, Timmy, Jeanett, Judy and Janice.-
