Wanda Sue Byrd
Wanda Sue Byrd, 54, of Lamar, died Nov. 14, 2012, at Baptist DeSoto Hospital in Southaven. She was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 17 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Clear Creek Cemetery. Bro. Jim Polk and Bro. Frank Feathers officiated.
She leaves her husband, Charles J. Byrd; a son, Kevin Byrd (Rena) of Hickory Flat; two daughters, Karen Benson (Jason) of Myrtle, Kelly Byrd of Lamar; two brothers, Larry Thompson of Red Banks, Jerry Thompson of Lamar; a sister, Ruth Rogers of Ashland; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Vernon Thompson; and grandchildren Brantley Link and Allison Carpenter.
