Ruby's father is Henry Hurdle and her mother is Mary Anne Crawley. Her paternal grandparents were Freeman Hurdle and Virginia Angeline Boswell; her maternal grandfather was William Augustus Crawley and her maternal grandmother is Lucina "Lucy" Jarvis. She has a brother and three sisters, named Bruce, Lucy Mae, Annabelle and Gladys.-
