His paternal grandfather was George Thomas Hunsucker and his paternal grandmother is Sally Grindstaff; his maternal grandparents are Peter Arrington and Sarah. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Sidney Ross, Anderson, Plumber B, Robert Lee, Calvin, Viola "OIa", Catherine, Kate Louisa and Mary Ella. He had eight half-brothers and five half-sisters, named William, James Amandy "Doc", Thomas Newton, David Buckner "Buck", Archie W, Jonathan Mark "Ink, George, John M, Jane, Mattie, Jane, Sarah and Martha Ellen. He died at the age of 84 on March 18th, 1962 in Harris, Texas, USA.-
